Amazonite

Amazonite is a striking feldspar mineral known for its vivid blue-green colour — ranging from soft mint and seafoam to deep teal — often streaked with white or cream veining that gives each stone a distinctive, painterly quality. Named after the Amazon River, though not actually found there, it has been used in jewellery and ornamentation since ancient Egypt, where it was carved into amulets and inlaid into the famous gold mask of Tutankhamun.
